I started this drawing for a competition but then forgot to submit it. That's the end of that story.

THE OUL LADS

After many years I quit my part time job in a Texaco station recently. 

This doodle is dedicated to all the oul lads who hang around outside the shop at six in the morning smoking and waiting for the shop to open to get a cup of tea and a newspaper but even more odd is the fact that they all wear a rolled up black hat, a navy jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. It's an odd social occurance where friends tend to look incredibly similiar to eachother.

Underground Cinema

So my old graduate film NUDE will be screening along with a selection of other films at the Underground Cinema which will be held in the Kingston Hotel in Dun Laoghaire on December 9th 7.30. Admission is 6 euro.

I will be retiring the film from the festival circuit after this so this is the last chance to see it on the big screen.

YETI UPDATE

That drawing of a Yeti I did a while ago is in Pictoplasma's exhibition along with a gazillion other Yeti's at la Gaîté lyrique in Paris on the 7th of December.

FESTIVALS -Participation

Soooo... Long time no blog. I have lots to update. Might do it over a few updates.

First up. I came first in the Tyrell CCT Sutdent Film Compeition in the best creative short section. Unfortunately I wasn't there to pick up my award so I have simulated my presence in the photo above using state of the art technology and computer graphics.

My film Nude is also in two online film festivals, which is fantastic but I need your vote to win the each of the competitions. If I win I will be screened at the real life festivals. Yay!
